FRIDAY: April 4th

 Junior High Youth group will START AT THE HOUSE from 7 to 8 p.m.

(bring $ 5 for pizza,soda, chips) to eat and plan the year-end celebration,

THEN off-site from 8-9 p.m. at Fun Station in Danbury for laser tag ($ 6. per game/per person for 15 minutes). 

Parents we need RSVP's to the Fallons ASAP & permission slips for this when you bring your youth today (so come on inside the back door of the House). 

NOTE:

    >ALL Coming of Age youth (both groups) are invited tonight as some planning for the year end sleep-over/workshop fun/ BBQ celebration (scheduled for June 20th - June 21st).  If you can't make it, contact the Fallons with your ideas.

      > 6th-8th graders who are going to the Junior High District Conference next  weekend please let the Fallons know.

SATURDAY: April 5th 

Coming of Age Retreats (both groups)  Youth will meet at the Church and then be transported off-site (the boys to one location and the girls to another).  Permission slip, warm clothing needed.  For details call Lisa or Brad ene

SUNDAY , April 6th when the youth arrive back at Clapboard Ridge &

BEFORE COA youth leave the HOUSE please meet in the kitchen with Mary Collins for a brief (20 minutes) about the May 10th Credo Dinner format, food, music/dancing...  

 

 

JUNIOR HIGH YOUTH GROUP (for 6th - 8th graders): 
The goal of the Junior High Youth Group (JHY) is to provide a fun and safe environment where youth are empowered to be themselves and explore their creativity through diverse activities and group discussions.

The JHY is open to all youth in grades 6th through 8th.  We welcome newcomers and visitors to join us any time.  Like the main congregation we encourage several visits as our meetings are diverse in content and activities.

The JHY meets on the first Friday of each month from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.  In addition we hold extra activities and events such as music, games and waterwars, cook-off, etc.  We participate in one annual social action activity.  The UU District has a JHY Youth Conference/Retreat every Spring and Fall that our youth may participate in.
