Social Action News

The Social Action Committee meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Ridge. ALL ARE WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND. In the past, Committee members have worked in projects for marriage equality and peace. Currently, the rights of immigrants in our community and nation, regardless of status, have been a focus issue. Also, a subcommittee is forming to begin the process of making the UUCD a Green Sanctuary. People are needed for this subcommittee. We participate in the Dorothy Day Hospitality House soup kitchen and other charitable causes. Please attend our next meeting and bring your ideas and enthusiasm.
