9th -12th Grade Sr. High Youth Group - 11:00 a.m.
NO OFFICIAL MEETINGS ON SUNDAYS DURING THE SUMMER
For 2011-12 we will offer besides youth group described below:
10th-12th Graders Our Whole Lives (OWL) programming will be offered in Danbury (but open to UU families in Mt. Kisco, and Mohegan Lake UU congregations)
Tentative Schedule
Required Parent only Orientations:
Choose one of the following and contact the DRE:
- September 10th at Danbury from 5:00-6:30 or
- September 25th from 6:00-7:30 at Mohegan Lake.
Oct. 1st-2nd - Mt. Kisco - Youth Meet and Greet Overnight-
5:30 to 7:00 PM Danbury Session Dates:
Either Oct. 9th (Columbus Day) or Oct. 23rd (TBD)
Nov. 6th, Dec. 4th, Jan. 8th, Feb. 5th, March 4th, April 1st, May 6th, and seeking June Gay Pride Parade dates for a field trip.
Sunday Mornings
SENIOR HIGH YOUTH GROUP - 2nd floor of the House (turn right at the top of the stairs)
- Multigenerational or Children's Chapel services (they may participate in them)
- or if a portion of the group attends district youth conferences.
- or if advisors direct them otherwise, (Please complete a registration form with your contact information for them).
- Worship
- Community Building
- Social Action
- Learning
- Leadership
In the past, the group has attended Metro District Youth Conferences (CONS), staged holiday parties for the younger UUCD kids or planned services for the entire congregation.
Occasionally the group arranges off-site activities.
We highly encourage Senior High Youth to participate in these activities, as well as attending services with their families and participating in wider congregational life by volunteering at events or serving on a committee.

Adult advisors attend in a 5:1 ratio. They may be focuses on Leadership, a social action, spirituality or youth community building beyond our congregation space.
